Working principle of hydraulic steering gear
The hydraulic servo consists of two parts: mechanical mechanism and hydraulic control system, and the hydraulic control system is composed of hydraulic system and circuit control system. The detection, amplification, and correction of feedback signals are all completed in the circuit control system. The function of mechanical mechanisms is to convert hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, driving the rudder surface to deflect. The function of the hydraulic system is to provide sufficient hydraulic energy to the steering gear and set the necessary protection and control devices. The control system, on the other hand, is a circuit part that serves two purposes: to transmit steering commands and to control steering accuracy. Among them, the hydraulic control system plays a decisive role, and its performance directly determines the performance of the servo, which in turn directly affects the performance of the aircraft.
The electrical signal of the control system controls the flow into and out of the hydraulic cylinders A and B by controlling the opening of the electro-hydraulic servo valve core of the hydraulic system, thereby controlling the displacement of the piston in the hydraulic cylinder. The displacement of the piston is controlled by the mechanical system of the hydraulic actuator to control the deflection of the rudder surface; The main function of the hydraulic system is to provide sufficient hydraulic energy to the steering gear, set up necessary protection and control devices, achieve signal conversion between the circuit control system and the mechanical system, convert the control signal of the control system into the displacement of the piston in the hydraulic cylinder, and drive the crank connecting rod mechanism of the steering gear to rotate, achieving the purpose of controlling the steering surface deflection angle.
